They wanted him to stay but he didn't like the white shirt aura at the time. My mind has an historical bent anyway, so I love thinking about Then and how times/things have changed Now. I've been involved in electronic publishing since 1976 and about the same time you were web mistress, I was uploading technical documents to the web for my Silicon Valley company. Fun times for me - I miss those early days of the internet and epublishing.Kathy Holmeshttp://www.kathyholmes.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1025201337316610324.post-77314248617338824702013-12-04T09:58:42.922-05:002013-12-04T09:58:42.922-05:00Atari! I just read your comment to my spouse, who said "What a long time ago. And just think, in the 1940s they said at IBM there'd only be a need for six computers." In the whole world, ha!Kay Kendallhttp://www.kaykendallauthor.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1025201337316610324.post-66295759970070565972013-12-04T09:20:27.842-05:002013-12-04T09:20:27.842-05:00I guess this makes me one of the oldest geekettes ...I guess this makes me one of the oldest geekettes in existence. I was an independent rep in the photo and electronics industry when the first computers came out. I jumped on the bandwagon by selling the cassettes that held the programs and games, moving on to the first upgrade cards and memory for Atari's, Commodore's and even Apples. I even built my first 10 or so home systems rather then spend the huge amounts of cash a store would want. LOL NoraAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14820850644240626655noreply@blogger.com
