At first, after Ted passed...Maria, I can SO relate. At first, after Ted passed, it was Auggie (miniature golden-doodle) who went a little nuts, though no potting inside resulted. However, in recent weeks, it's Lola (hungstrung cockapoo) who seems to be most upset over Ted's departure. She's sullen and basically nasty to everyone. She began on this downhill slide when we sent "her person" to faraway college. And this appears to be an extension of that behavior. I think changes like that, especially the passing of one of their own has a profound affect on animals! I don't cr...Maria, have you tried crating her? I don't crate my 8-year-old Westie anymore but in the beginning, it worked like a charm to get her to do her "business" outside.
