Like Art, I try to at least touch base with the current project before bed, even if it's been a day of events and travel that hasn't allowed writing. Reading over your work and/or making new notes on it can help keep your mind inside the world of your book--vital for keeping a consistent tone. (And thanks for the kind words about my book.)Linda Rodriguezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11913741596693442469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1025201337316610324.post-91221314228636298292017-01-16T12:48:26.635-05:002017-01-16T12:48:26.635-05:00Keeping your head in the game. For me, it helps keep my head in the game. :-)MLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15734487848824680191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1025201337316610324.post-25607947214209227872017-01-16T09:59:55.274-05:002017-01-16T09:59:55.274-05:00Mine, too, Debra.Mine, too, Debra.Paula Gail Bensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08843350597811462936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1025201337316610324.post-56425560923139674252017-01-16T09:59:29.291-05:002017-01-16T09:59:29.291-05:00Art, yours is an excellent idea. I've found that even checking in briefly on a project each day helps to keep the subconcious working, even if a full session of "practice" (writing) isn't in the cards that day. But yes, consistency is key. And thanks for the book recommendations!Art Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02409008167752619352noreply@blogger.com
