Remembering The Good

Remembering the Good
By Laura Bradford

Isn't this a lovely idea?

I think I just might try this, this year...maybe even make a jar (with these instructions) and give them to friends for the holidays.

Have you ever given a homemade gift for the holidays (as an adult)? Tell us about it...

    1. I feel your pain, Lynn. But I actually think I will try this for a very select few I think will enjoy it.

  2. I crochet cute christmas slippers, and make Christmas jewelry for the girls! Of course I give the jewelry before the holidays so they have a chance to wear it! Thanks for the memory jar idea, I have a few mason jars hanging around that I would love to decorate and fill with happy memories and a few wise sayings of my own! :) Cullum-Roybal

  3. I started this jar in January. I can't wait to pull out the notes on New Years and take a walk down memory lane. With three young kids we have lots of memories. I think I'm going to take it a step farther and and make a photo memory book with these notes included.

  4. What a great idea! And, Kelly, I like your plan to make a photo memory book from the notes. Once year, I received a jar filled with happy sayings and thoughts. It was great because it was like getting all the messages from Dove candy wrappers without the calories!

    1. LOL, Paula!! LOL! I love those sayings in the Dove Chocolates...but, of course, I eat the chocolate before I read them. :)

  5. We do this at church, only we call what we write blessings--hence it's a blessing jar.
